Driver Arrested After Multi-Day Semi Truck Police Chase
A chaotic three-day manhunt involving a semi-truck came to an end Monday afternoon in Detroit, where authorities arrested the driver accused of leading police on a sprawling chase across more than a dozen cities in Metro Detroit.
According to FOX 2, the incident began Saturday, June 7 in Dearborn, where the semi driver allegedly broke into an ex girlfriend’s home. When police responded, he reportedly struck a cruiser with the semi and fled, kicking off a high-speed chase. That pursuit was called off due to safety concerns, but the truck and driver resurfaced the next day.
On Sunday, the semi was spotted again and led authorities through multiple cities including Warren, Garden City, and Westland, triggering another chase that was again called off for safety reasons.
