A train collided with a semi-truck last week in Webster County, Kentucky. No injuries were reported, but the rail line was shut down for a few hours.
According to WPKY, the trucker was hauling black topping equipment when his lowboy semi-trailer got truck on the train tracks. He tried to dethatch and unload the equipment, but was unable to do so in time. Before he had the chance to clear the railroad crossing, a train smashed through it.
Local police reported no injuries from the incident, but the truck and trailer were both destroyed. The rail line was shut down for 4 hours, though cleanup efforts continued longer into the night.
