On November 2, it was reported that six 18-wheelers were involved in a wreck that shut down I-80 in Nevada. At least two people suffered minor injuries.
Nevada State Police arrived on the scene shortly after to tend to those injured. Local Fire & Rescue Tweeted photos from the scene and advised drivers to avoid I-80 for several hours.

According to UPI, the exact cause of the incident is unknown, but there was a light dusting of snow on that section of the highway that may have affected drivers. Temperatures stayed around 30 degrees, making it cold enough to freeze the snow. The roads were apparently slick, and another accident happened on I-80 almost 2 hours after the first wreck.
