Happy National Truck Driver Appreciation Week!
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week (NTDAW) is an annual event officially launched in 1988 by the American Trucking Associations (ATA) as a way to recognize and celebrate truck drivers for their essential role in America’s economy. This year, it runs September 14–20, with the theme “From Highways to Homes: We Appreciate Truck Drivers.”
NTDAW highlights how the roughly 3.6 million U.S. professional truckers deliver daily necessities, from food to medicine, keeping the economy and communities moving forward. It’s a time for the public, employers, and fellow drivers to recognize the dedication it takes to do this job right.
