Kitten Rescued from Semi-Truck Tires!
In a compassionate rescue operation nicknamed “Mission Im-paw-sible”, Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers saved a kitten trapped between the tires of a semi-truck.
According to WHIO, a trucker noticed the kitten during a routine pre-trip inspection. He made a stop on the Ohio Turnpike in Portage County and spotted the kitty in the wheel well.
OSHP troopers arrived promptly and helped the trucker free the tiny feline from its precarious situation. The operation involved a tow truck to lift the big rig so an officer could reach inside the wheel and pull the kitten to safety.

The rescued kitten was unharmed and was given to the Portage Animal Protective League, “a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.”
