WATCH: NASCAR hauler for Riley Herbst involved in single-vehicle crash in Arizona

This week it was reported that NASCAR driver Riley Herbst’s 98 Xfinity hauler was in a single-vehicle accident on I-40 near Flagstaff, Arizona. The aftermath of the incident was recorded and uploaded to Twitter by Spencer Hill, a Sprint Car driver.

The rig is owned by Stewart-Haas Racing and was driving to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for a race this weekend. SHR released a statement saying neither occupants of the truck were injured. The statement also confirmed that speed was not the cause of the accident.

According to KAFF News, the hauler told state troopers that he passed out while driving, causing him to lose control and drive into the guardrail. The two racecars being hauled in the trailer were unharmed, and arrangements were made to hook the trailer up to a new rig to be delivered to Las Vegas.
