Why did the chicken cross the road? Because its truck tipped over!
According to WAVE 3 News, an 18-wheeler hauling chickens overturned on Highway 59. The accident happened in the early morning of March 6 in Daviess County, Kentucky.
Police said that the big rig was full of live chickens and driving westward. When the truck veered off road, it reportedly drove into a ditch and tipped the trailer on its side. When impact of the crash damaged the trailer and spilled live chickens all over the road.
Highway 59 was closed for a few hours after the wreck, but opened up once the road was cleared. The trucker was taken to the hospital.
