A recent video posted by Reddit user u/vizarhali on the r/Truckers subreddit shows a wild scene unfold on the road. In the dashcam footage, a trucker is driving at night when another truck without a trailer passes on the right, merges abruptly in front, and slams on the brakes. Unable to stop in time, the dashcam trucker rear-ends the semi. The dashcam trucker pushes it forward before the trailer-less truck veers off to the side and out of frame. The dashcam trucker pauses briefly but then keeps on truckin’.

In the comments, viewers speculate it could have been an attempted robbery. “Looks like a hijacking attempt or the driver thought it was at least,” wrote one. Another chimed, “Trailerless truck trying to stop one with a Trailer. It could be a hijacking.”
