Which came first, the chicken or the egg? In the past week, separate trailers hauling eggs and chickens have overturned on highways, causing messes and road closures.
According to KREM, an 18-wheeler hauling eggs crashed on I-90 in Washington state on March 2. The trailer overturned and spilled eggs all over the road, which led to a major traffic disruption.
The Washington State Patrol reported that the accident blocked all westbound traffic on I-90 at milepost 157. Tow trucks arrived at the scene around 6:00 a.m. to remove the truck, but it is unclear if the driver sustained any injuries. The cause of the crash is still unknown.
