They say there’s no use in crying over spilled milk… but what about the cookies that go with it?
On January 26th, a semi truck hauling Girl Scout cookies crashed on US 27 in Kentucky. According to WLWT 5, the accident happened around 3:00 a.m. and caused traffic to back up quite a bit. Due to the traffic affecting morning commutes, Pendleton County Schools opened on a delay.
It is currently unknown what caused the 18-wheeler to crash. The trucker was unharmed, and there were no injuries at the scene. Unfortunately, the Girl Scout cookies were incinerated and had to be hauled off in a dump truck so the big rig could be towed.
