Two men were arrested in Detroit, Michigan with about 9 pounds of cocaine in their big rig.
According to Click On Detroit, Sterling Heights police officers were making their usual rounds on patrol and spotted a suspicious looking semi truck parked behind a shopping mall. When they questioned the two men in the truck, they seemed nervous and said they were just looking for a spot to sleep in their truck. Their suspicious behavior prompted officers to search the cab.
Once they had permission to search the truck, a K-9 unit was brought to sniff it out too. That’s when police found 9 pounds of cocaine, estimated to be worth around $320,000. Officers found boxes with empty mailboxes in the truck as well.
