No bull$#@&… this actually happened this week.
News Channel Nebraska reported that a man was pulled over for having a bull riding shotgun with him. The pair was driving on Highway 275 when a witness alerted police of a driver with a “cow” in their passenger seat.
“They thought that it was going to be a calf, something small or something that would actually fit inside the vehicle,” said Police Captain Chad Reiman. Instead, when police caught up with the driver they found a full grown Watusi bull riding shotgun.
The cops pulled over the driver, Lee Meyer from Neligh, Nebraska, and learned the bull’s name was Howdy Doody. The officers performed a traffic stop and identified some of the violations committed by Meyer and Doody, but let them off with a warning.
“There were some citable issues with that situation. The officer chose to write him a warning and ask him to take the animal back home and leave the city,” Reiman told News Channel Nebraska.
