You know what they say, “Don’t veer for the deer!”
This video, posted by u/R1ckyRampag3 on the r/Truckers subreddit shows a close call with some deer and another semi-truck.
In the dashcam footage, you can the semi in the left lane swerve into the driver’s lane on the right. As it does, two deer come bounding across the road and barely escape the two big rigs on the road. Even though there was no accident, the semi in the left lane came dangerously close to clipping the dashcam trucker.

Below the video, one trucker wrote, “Remember if you’re driving a truck deer are speed bumps.” Another spoke up, questioning why the other semi driver reacted the way they did. “Why did he serve to the right if they’re going right?”
