“Note to self: don’t try to pass when roads are covered in snow and slush”
That was the caption from NYSDOT in their video of an impatient driver hastily attempting to pass a semi taking it slow in the snow. The footage comes from a snow plow’s dashcam, and shows the moment when the four-wheeler knew they messed up. As the car passes the semi, it sees the snow plow ahead and tries to swerve back into its own lane. Unfortunately, slick conditions make it slide and crash right into the front of the plow.

Viewers of the video left comments defending both drivers. One user wrote, “Totally deserved it,” and another added, “The guy with the plow never tried to stop or slow down, I know it wasn’t his fault, but a nice person would try to avoid the accident…”
What do you think? Should the snow plow have slowed down, or was the four-wheeler solely responsible? Vote below to let us know!
