This helpful group of Jeep drivers came to the rescue of many stranded truckers in Texas this week. Their semis were stranded on the road due to the treacherous conditions of I-20.
According to Dallas Morning News, the group is called Carnales Off Road and is a club of Jeep owners. Over 10 Jeeps showed up in the freezing cold to help move semis that couldn’t get traction on the icy roads. They started around 11 a.m. and continued helping ease emergency crews’ workload throughout the day.
“”You can see the entire pile of semis just stuck there and not moving,” said Angel Müniz, member of the Carnales Off Road Jeep Club. “They’re still having issues and problems getting traction and getting moving. That’s why we’re out here — just doing whatever we can to get everybody moving,” he told Dallas Morning News.
