This shocking footage shows a semi unknowingly dragging a car stuck under its trailer.
This video, originally recorded in December of 2021, has resurfaced online and has truckers buzzing. According to Fox 32 Chicago, the clip was recorded in I-294 by Illinois resident Grzegorz Buczynski. The footage shows an 18-wheeler driving full speed on the highway with a car wedged halfway underneath the trailer.
“I speed up and I start honking and waving to the truck driver. And he just waved me back…and then I believe he noticed the car under his trailer,” Buczynski told Fox. While the semi drags the sedan on the highway, the driver can be seen waving out the window for help.
The trucker eventually stopped, and it was reported that two lanes of traffic were blocked while the car was removed from beneath the semi’s trailer.
