This video goes to show that truckers should always expect the unexpected when they hit the road.
A dashcam video posted by Charlotte Russell Frew shows the moment when a wrong-way driver forced two truckers and to react. The footage was taken on September 5, and is just 28 second long.
The video starts off with Charlotte driving in the right lane and another semi driving ahead in the left lane. Suddenly, the semi up ahead swerves to the right. This causes Charlotte to react and swerve her big rig into the shoulder to avoid rear-ending the other semi. In the process, she nearly collides with another four-wheeler stopped on the side of the road. Then, you can see the wrong-way van drive past them in the left lane and everyone resumes driving on their course.
Charlotte posted the video on Facebook on September 6 with the caption, “You never know what you will see. This individual decided we all needed a little excitement in our lives when he got on the road heading the wrong way!”
