Milk Mayhem: Tanker Rollover Spills Milk on I-80!
They say there’s no crying over spilled milk… but does that include even when you spill 4,000 gallons?
According to Fox 13, a trucker hauling a 5,600 gallons of soy milk overturned his semi on May 18. The accident occurred in Utah between Coalville and Echo. It is unknown what caused the accident, but the tanker was ruptured and gallons of milk flooded the highway.

Authorities estimated that 4,000 gallons of milk spilled in the crash, some of which ended up in a nearby river. As the milk reached the storm drain, it was directed into the Weber River. To prevent more milk contaminating the water, a makeshift dam was built.

I-80 closed for cleanup crews to mop up the mess, but reopened about 3 hours later. The trucker was taken to a local hospital for their injuries.
