Bodycam footage shows highway kitten rescue!
“Just found a baby kitten in the middle of 441.”
CBS 12 reported a daring rescue that happened on Highway 441 in Alachua, Florida. On May 12, a police officer was on patrol when he came up on a box truck stopped on the highway. Upon closer inspection, the truck driver stopped because there was a small baby kitten in the middle of the road. The cop pulled his patrol car over, got out, and hurried over to the kitten while cars drove by. He scooped it up and carried it safely back to his car. Thanks to the heads up driving by both the box truck driver and the police officer, the kitten was rescued and removed from danger.
