Firefighters Rescue Pinned Trucker!
According to chattanoogan.com, a truck driver was saved by firefighters after being trapped under his overturned semi-truck. The rescue happened in Chattanooga on Tuesday, September 24 after the semi hauling 40,000 pounds of paper rolled onto its side.
The Chattanooga Fire Department responded to the accident around 4:18 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the driver’s legs were pinned under the dashboard. After securing the tractor and trailer, firefighters were able to free the driver. He was then transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the driver survived, though the extent of his injuries remains unclear. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
