Blinded by the Sun, Trucker Pulls Off Emergency Maneuver!
Incredible dashcam footage shared with The Mighty Trucker shows just how fast things can go wrong — and how alert driving and quick thinking can be difference-makers.

The footage begins with a semi driving in the right lane down a two-lane highway, the sun shining directly into the windshield. The glare is blinding, washing out the driver’s view. It’s a situation every trucker has faced — that dangerous “can’t-see-nothing” moment when the sun is blinding on the horizon. Then, traffic ahead suddenly stops. With limited time to react and brake, the driver swerves onto the right shoulder, barely missing the trailer in front. The rig hugs the side of the highway, passing two more 18-wheelers at before safely merging back into the lane through a gap in traffic.
