WATCH: Car Cuts Off Semi — Triggering Jackknife and Near Rollover!
A crazy dash cam video is making waves in the trucking community after capturing a reckless driver in a black sedan cutting off a semi-truck, causing a chain reaction that nearly ended in disaster. The footage serves as a reminder of the dangers truckers face from impatient and careless motorists.
In the video, the black sedan suddenly merges in front of a red semi-truck, squeezing into the exit lane at the last possible second. The car slams on the brakes to make the exit, leaving the truck driver with no time to react. Forced to brake hard, the semi loses control and jackknifes across the highway, blocking multiple lanes to the left.
As the red semi jackknifes, a yellow semi-truck comes barreling down the highway, directly in its path. With no time to stop, the yellow truck driver makes a split-second decision to swerve onto the left shoulder to avoid impact. The truck nearly slides into the grassy median, tilting precariously, but the driver miraculously regains control and keeps the rig from overturning. Finally, the red semi is able to steer onto the right shoulder, coming to a stop after the terrifying ordeal.

The video was posted by u/muck2profit on r/Truckers, amassing hundreds of views and comments. “Yo. I can’t believe the other truck saved it.” wrote one commenter, praising the driver of the yellow big rig.
Others criticized the dashcam driver, saying they should’ve maintained their lane. “This video pisses me off, that driver should’ve held his lane and fucked the car up instead of ruining somebody else’s day,” wrote someone else.
