A semi truck thief in Houston led police on a high speed chase that spanned 4 counties and lasted over 2 hours.
ABC 13 reported that when police finally caught 51-year-old Christopher John Lubowski, meth was found in the cabin of the stolen truck. Lubowski was arrested for “felony charges of evading and possession of a controlled substance.” He is now being held on a $150,000 bond.
The whole ordeal reportedly started with a reckless driving report and quickly spiraled into an all out chase. Lubowski led cops all over Texas, driving dangerously and having many close calls with cars and officers along the way.
The chase finally came to an end when police were able to force the stolen rig to stop, and they shot his tires.
