A trucker mysteriously disappeared two weeks ago, as the search for him continues.
According to WEAU, on November 21, David Schultz’s semi truck was found on the side of the road in northwest Iowa. His trailer was filled with baby pigs, his wallet and phone were in the cab, and his jacket was on the ground. It was also noted that the truck was facing north, even though his route would have had him driving southbound.
“This is not something David would do. He would never leave. His family is his life,” the trucker’s wife, Sarah Shultz told authorities. The 53-year-old father of two children is said to be diligent with strong family values, causing his wife to suspect something was wrong.

Many members of the community have volunteered to search over 100,000 acres for the missing trucker, but have had no success. The United Cajun Navy, a nonprofit search and rescue service has also stepped up to help in the search while Iowa law enforcement investigates as well.
