Semi Crash Covers Highway in M&Ms
According to WKRC, a crash between two semi trucks created a candy-coated mess on a New Jersey highway. The accident happened September 16, in Trenton, New Jersey, scattering thousands of M&M’s across the roadway. Crews shut down lanes and detoured traffic as they worked to clean up the sticky situation.
The crash left one semi overturned, spilling its cargo of chocolate treats across the interstate. Photos from the scene show a colorful trail of candy coating the pavement while responders worked to clear both vehicles. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
By later in the day, officials confirmed that the highway was cleared and traffic was back to normal, though drivers won’t soon forget the unusual sight of a highway turned into a candy spill.
