Semi Stuck on the Beach, Rescued by Jeeps!
According to KOIN, a semi-truck took a joyride on Sunset Beach and got stuck in the sands during high tide. The incident happened on March 11, near Portland, Oregon, around 11 a.m. The truck was found by the Sons of Beaches Shore Patrol, a 4×4 motorsport club. A team of Jeeps volunteered to help drag the truck out of the sand.

Spectators captured videos showing the group of Jeeps collaborating to extricate the stranded semi-truck. The Jeeps worked in unison, successfully towing the truck back to solid ground.

“We see trucks like this out there every so often, but he came out at high tide which was a terrible time,” Ben Doney, Sons of Beaches member, told KOIN.
Next time you’re tempted to take a joyride on the beach, just remember—sand and semis don’t mix, especially at high tide. Stick to the pavement and let the off-roaders handle the dunes. Stay safe out there, drivers!
