Driverless Semi Barrels Through Neighborhood!
Residents of Lawrence, Kansas, witnessed a driverless semi-truck roll out of control through their streets. According to KMBC News, the semi-truck was initially parked but became mobile and travelled through the residential area with no one behind the wheel.
The truck’s driver reportedly chased after it, but to no avail. The semi rolled about 300 feet, crashed through a wall, ran over a resident’s patio, and finally came to a stop between two houses.
Authorities believe some sort of brake failure caused the semi to roll off. A small fire started as a result of the crash, but no injuries were reported.
