Here’s one that’ll make your stomach drop.
A viral video shows a truck driver in Fort Worth dealing with any driver’s worst nightmare: getting stuck on railroad tracks with a train coming. And the timing on this one? Way too close.
In the clip, the driver is hauling a boom lift (or cherry picker) when the trailer appears to get hung up at the crossing. The truck ends up stuck across the tracks, and for a few tense seconds, the driver is still sitting in the cab trying to figure out what to do.
The train is coming in fast, and at the last possible moment, the driver jumps out and gets clear. Seconds later, the freight train slams into the trailer, completely obliterating the rig and dragging it down the tracks.
The impact is destructive. The crossing gate gets taken out, debris goes flying, and the trailer is basically torn apart on contact.
