Concrete Spill Covers LA Highway

Here’s one you don’t see every day. A concrete mixer caused a mess on I-10 near Los Angeles after spilling a load that ended up covering a long stretch of the freeway.

As seen in a video from the scene, wet concrete poured out of the mixer and spread across one of the middle lanes, leaving motorists with no choice but to slow down and drive through it. With traffic moving steadily, many drivers had to roll straight through the wet concrete as it covered the roadway.

The mixer eventually pulled over onto the shoulder, but not before a significant portion of the freeway was coated. Crews later had to deal with cleanup and the impact it had on traffic in the area.

Some viewers joked that maybe the spill at least helped fill in a few potholes.
